Name:Sunchaser Character Name:Sunchaser Position wanted: Leader or Deputy of Snowpeak clan, Leader first Character Traits:Strong, loyal, reliable, kind Audition:Sunchaser licked her paw, swiping it over her head to flatten her fur. She was having a slight bed head right now because she was so nervous. She turned to Spotteddream, the brown pelted female who would be taking her to MoonShine cave. The snow had stopped falling for now and they would be heading out. She nodded her head to herself before biting into the seed that would allow her to travel and not stop for food. Closing her eyes she whispered a prayer to Starclan for a safe journey. She turned to the medicine cat and met the females eyes with her own bright blue ones. Yes she was ready. Slowly the two padded out of the cave. Their previous leader Snowstar had passed leaving Sunchaser to take his place. She had only become deputy a few moons previous when Blackfur had taken ill from a infection caused by the wolves. With a sigh she shook her head. When she got back she would have to find a deputy. Hopefully Starclan would deem her worthy enough for her nine lives. She had been to the caves once before when she was made deputy now she was coming back to become leader. After awhile the two had picked up their pace and where running along the edges of their territory, to reach their destination.Sunchaser smiled to herself before turning to the lapping water. Over head the sun was going down, casting a eerie glow on the land. Soon the moon would appear and they would be ready. She turned to SpottedDream and nuzzled her friend. "I guess its time." The female nodded and they both entered as the moon started to rise and the stars come out. The dampness of the cave made her shiver, with the cold wind blowing threw. However the lights that played off the walls made her tremble with amazement. She would never get used to the beautiful site of the stars glistening on the water, and the water reflecting on the walls. Blue eyes gaze in wonderment before they reached the spot where they would communicate with Starclan. She turned to the medicine cat who gave her a reassuring smile and laid down, her nose near the water, smelling the fresh scent of the clean aqua, and the scent of the earth around her. Soon she was no longer in the cave but at the gathering place, dozens of cats around her. Her eyes adjusted to the light, seeing her family and past leaders before her. She turned as a cat, cloaked by the stars come to stand before her. "Welcome Sunchaser. We have found you worthy and you will lead Snowpeak Clan into greatness. Do not worry yourself." As the male spoke, tears came to her eyes for the male was her father. "Thank you." She whispered for now she would receive her lives.

Name: Moonrose Character Name: Wintersong Position wanted: DuskClan Leader Character Traits: Strong, fierce, a firm enforcer. Audition: Silverpelt glittered like diamonds on the ebony blanket that coated the sky with its darkness for the night. The thick trees and brambles that enclosed the camp provided little sight for the things lurking out in the forest, but provided ample protection from anything that dared to roam near the home of these sly cats. There was an opening in the trees above them that allowed for sight of the night sky twinkling so brightly. The only sound provided was the sound of the night creatures scurrying about the underbrush, the trees, and even the nightly predators hunting for a simple midnight snack.
The cats were gathered below, sitting or laying, some even standing. Some were sitting alone and some were sitting in groups. Kittens huddled by their mothers, eyes wide as they took in their surroundings for one of the few times that they would be out of their dens before they became apprentices. Though their gazes were straining to focus on a single thing, all other cats had their eyes trained on the Turkish Angora female standing proudly upon the stones where meetings were called. The moonlight illuminated her snow colored pelt. Her blue eye appeared as ice and her green eye appeared as a plain of grass.
The Warrior beneath her seemed ragged, out of breath as he had explained the situation to her. Her expression was blank, even though there was a hint of harshness there. Her eyes were narrowed, the slitted pupils menacing in the light. For a moment, the Warrior feared she would instil punishment upon him, so he straightened himself and calmed his breathing, returning to his usually harsh demeanor. Despite the beauty of this female in front of them, she could be extremely terrifying, and they respected her because of it. She pondered what she had been told, and someone spoke to her.
Ripplepool, her dear sister, broke the silence, "Wintersong, what shall be done?"
Wintersong was silent a moment more, then transfixed her gaze upon the dead body in the center of the clearing. "Our leader is dead, killed by a rival clan. We shall do what we are intended to do. We will declare war."
The Medicine Cat broke in gently, "What about your lives? You are the new leader. StarClan must see you."
"What do you suggest, Weaseltail?" Wintersong turned her eyes to him.
"I am no fighter, that much is sure, but I do know one thing: if we make no commotion about this until you obtain your lives and your 'star' name, then we can surely have the advantage over the enemy." He explained, hoping that the idea would prevail.
Wintersong was intent on starting a few moments longer. While he had several points, there was still the fact that the cats of this clan were bloodthirsty. She could already sense their wanting of revenge on QuakeClan, whether it had been an accident or not. However, the longer she remained silent, the more she heard murmurs of agreement to the Medicine Cat's suggestion. On the other hand, she personally wanted to rip the throat out of the killer of their beloved leader. Even she had that much respect for the old female. She swept her gaze one last time across the clan, whom were waiting for her approval.
"Very well, Weaseltail. Prepare yourself. We leave when you are ready." She commanded, leaping down from her place. The Warrior jumped slightly, then moved aside as she padded up to her dead leader. She yowled into the night, "Upon our return, revenge shall be sought!"
A chorus of mewls followed her cry.

Name: Dawnwhisker Character Name: Dawnstar Position wanted: Valleyclan Leader Character Traits: Hot-headed, headstrong, stubborn, but is kind and thoughtful most of the time. Audition: Fragile paws bounded off the ground and into the depths of the river below. A dirty gray tom leaped after hear, claws extended and teeth bared. The golden queen gasped for breath as her head came above the water, but only momentarily before the water grasped her again, pulling her under. At the same time, she felt razor like claws sink into her back, ripping her flesh open. Dawnstar screamed, but the river just took her hopeless cry and swallowed it up like nothing. She was losing air, and she needed some, fast. But the stubborn claws kept a tight hold of her. She looked up before things turned back, to see satisfied amber eyes staring back. Those same eyes of...
"Cragstar!"
Dawnstar awoke with a start, gasping for breath. Her fur was on end at the nightmare of her former deputy, Cragstep, now known and Cragstar of Quakeclan. She looked wildly around her den, expecting a dark gray tom to attack her, but there were no amber eyes staring back at her. It was only a dream, only a dream... the tabby told herself, still recovering from what she saw in the depths of her sleep. Ever since the earth quake, ever since that day when Cragstep was trapped with those cats in the patrol, Dawnstar had been receiving nightmares. Hopefully, it wasn't from Starclan as a prophecy. Right now, all four clans were at peace. But those dreams churned her stomach. What if, one day, those dreams were to be true?

Dawnstar can keep ValleyClan and Wintersong can take DuskClan. Run your clans well.
I believe there is another candidate for Snowpeak so I'll wait on that decision.

Oh, I need to post Blizzardpelt here; she wants to stay as Snowpeakclan deputy if Sunchaser/star is leader. Scratch that, she'll try out for medicine cat. It's much more fair to the members.
Scratch all of that. I'll make her med. apprentice instead. I'll post here later when I have more time though.

Post by Embersky on Dec 28, 2011 18:43:40 GMT -5
Name: ~ MiNK ~ Character Name: Embersky Position wanted: Valleyclan Medicine cat Character Traits: Quiet, thoughtful, and tends to doubt himself. Has a heart of gold for others. Audition:
A white and ginger tail twitched impatiently. Emerald green eyes blinked slowly, sleep crusts forming at the edges. His whiskers twitched, and he swiveled his ears towards a distant sound. His white paws, now covered in muck and dirt and grass, kneaded the ground in anticipation. Soon, they will be coming, He thought eagerly, soon, soon...
Embersky looked up with hope. The sun was almost at its highest point. The tabby was beginning to become more and more restless by the hour, the minute, the second. But he reminded himself, They will be here soon.
As if in answer, there was a flash of light that illuminated the whole cave. A starclan cat arrived at the Moonpool, followed by a smaller, younger cat. They were both covered in starlight, their eyes as bright as the sun. Embersky got up and raised his tail in greeting. He knew this older cat; it was his dead mother, Fallenstreak. But behind her was a slimmer, smaller cat he had never seen before. Then again, the tom never met all of Starclan, only those who he was close to. And yet, Embersky was expecting the both of them.
"This is Lightclaw," Fallenstreak mewed in a distant voice, "Your older brother." Those words stung Embersky. He had a brother? Before he had a chance to speak up, the she-cat continued. "He died in the earthquake, like myself. You never knew him because I had him while I was still a stray. It was after I joined the clan that I had you. I didn't tell you he was your brother, because I wanted you to be the only one in my life other than my mate. I was wrong for thinking that, as I know now. I didn't want you to think you had spoiled blood when you were younger. Know, I am telling you this because I know you are responsible enough to know this." She finished. Embersky simply nodded, understanding. His mother was a stray?
"Is that all?" He couldn't help but ask. "No prophecy, no message for the leader, nothing?" The she-cat only shook her head, starting to disappear.
"Things may not be as they seem, young Embersky, but one day, you will know why this information is so important..." Fallenstreak mewed softly, fading away. Embersky leaped at her to try and grab a hold of her, but she had already disappeared, along with Lightclaw. Embersky knew that this had to tie in with a future prophecy, but what? What was the prophecy?

Post by Crystalpaw on Dec 29, 2011 0:29:05 GMT -5
Name: Moonrose Character Name: Crystalpaw Position wanted: ValleyClan Medicine Cat Apprentice Character Traits: Shy, caring, and open-hearted/minded. Audition:
The breeze ruffled through the grasses, the sun shimmering down upon them and causing a ripple of shine to pass through them. The endless blue sky stretched out above, reaching from one end of the plains to the other, white fluffs dotting the canvas lightly. The sun seemed to touch them, too, brushing lightly against their edges to give them a luminous outline. However, no life stirred in the lands. No birds, no rabbits, not even tiny field mice. There was nothing there, except for a cat.
The dark gray female was standing there silently, confused as to where she was. This was not ValleyClan territory, so where had she wandered so far off to? Where was Dawnstar, the leader? Where was Embersky, her mentor? Had she not been with them moments ago, merely fox lengths away, searching for herbs and things that could help the clan survive in the coming months? An image came to her, where she leaned over the root of a small bush, and everything went black.
"Crystalpaw..." Suddenly, everything changed colors. It became night, the moon giving a silver linging to the clouds and changing the grass to a dark grey. The sky was navy blue, littered with sparkling little dots known as stars. Silverpelt shined down on the apprentice, and those stars gave her some comfort. She knew she was not in danger here, but she knew that something was going to happen. What, exactly, was the only thing that she did not know, and it scared her.
"H...Hello?" She called out tentatively to the voice, seeing if it would respond. The answer to her call were several stars falling from the sky, clustering and condensing into a nearly solid form. The stars took a shape, one familiar to her, and in moments she could see the fiery red pelt and piercing blue eyes of a she-cat. She seemed familiar, though the looks had only been described to her, and she knew of only one that had them. Only one.
"M...Mother?"
"Crystalpaw, my child, be warned." Her voice was as sweet as honey.
"What do you mean?"
The reply was indirect. "Beside you walks a snake. Do not allow it to bite."
Seconds later, the image had vanished and all had gone dark once more. Crystalpaw found herself standing over the same roots of the same bush, blinking and staring blankly at the dirt. What had that been? An omen? A prophecy? What if it was just a daydream because she had wanted to see her mother? She did not know, but it possibly had significance. Lifting herself from the ground, she glanced about and nearly ran to her mentor and leader, trying to hide the panic in her eyes.
"Em-m-mbersky... D-D-Dawnstar... I think S-StarClan sent me something..."
Not my best, but eh.

Post by BlackClaw on Dec 29, 2011 17:33:51 GMT -5
Name:Sunchaser Character Name:BlackClaw Position wanted: Medicine Cat of Duskclan Character Traits:Strong, smart, quick to act Audition: BlackClaw sighed softly as he padded out of the warriors den. He had been on patrol during the afternoon and right now he was starving. He had very little sleep so he figured why not just get up during the middle of the night and eat. With a sigh he looked up at the stars, wondering what StarClan was up to tonight. Shaking his head he moved and grabed a bit of freshkill, sniffing at the pile before choosing a mole. Nibbling on the creature he moved off, and sat down under a tree.
As he shredded the mole he slowly started to realize that his clan was changing. Around him the place filled with fog and the few cats that where moving had stoped and where replaced by stars. He looked up as one cat came forward. It was his mother. The mole droped from his mouth as he looked at her. "Hello BlackClaw. The time has come, you must put up your warrior ways and become a medicine cat. The clan will need you." Nothing else happened except those words and soon he was back in his own camp. His body started as he looked down and saw a rare medicine flower sitting on top of the mole. He rose a brow before sighing and going to see WinterStar. He knew they where looking for a new Medicine cat and he knew the herbs but really? Him? He sighed and shook his head. Starclan knew best.

Name: .jasper. Character Name: Sapphiresoul Position wanted: Snowpeakclan Deputy Character Traits: Loyal, kind, has a loud voice, and is skilled at hunting. Audition:
Sapphiresoul smiled, her silvery-gray fur blowing in the wind. The beautiful she-cat blinked her bright blue eyes, and took a deep breath. The sun shone on her pelt, making it shine and shimmer. She stood at the edge of a rocky cliff, where the snow was melting into crackling ice. Sapphiresoul sat there. It was her place, that only she knew about, where she could loosen her muscles, relax her thoughts, and clear her brain. One of these days, however, she knew that someone would discover her open hideout. But for now, she would enjoy it while she could.
Finished.

Sun, both characters are Accpeted. Though I think it would be a fun plot if Blackclaw was either chalanged or stayed med-cat just long enough to train an apprentice.
